Communion and Concluding Rites: Behold the Lamb of God is more majestic and a direct allusion to John 1:29; Blessed (replaces happy) are those called to the supper of the Lamb…we may be blessed even when experiencing sorrow; clearer allusion to Revelation 19:9. p.45; reply: Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof but only say the word and my soul shall be healed. Under my roof is a more direct connection with Matthew 8:8 and Luke 7:6 and the Gentile centurion’s expression of faith and humility. Word “soul” is being used to indicate that we are asking for the spiritual healing that alone can cure “my soul”. dp.45/46
